Applicants must have received a denial, partial approval, or insufficient coverage determination from their insurance carrier. Equipt Foundation is not a substitute for insurance — we fill the gap when the system falls short.

We fund a broad range of adaptive and assistive devices, including mobility aids, communication devices, orthotics, and sensory equipment. All grants are based on documented medical necessity.

Yes. We do not restrict grants by diagnosis. Any child with a qualifying medical need and a documented insurance denial may apply.
